Simco was the son of "old" Doc Simco, Reuben Sims Simco and Emma D. Dudley, grandson of Wharton Canada Simco and Julia A. Brockman, and, Payton J. Dudley and Hannah Gilbert. He was my 2nd cousin twice removed. Laura Ethel Craghead was the daughter of Patrick N. Craighead and Julia Amanda Mattox, a granddaughter of Mark Anthony Craghead and Caroline Payne. She was my 4th cousin twice removed. His 1st wife was Lucy E. Corless.
