Martha A. Herring, wife of M.T. Herring, died Sept 13, 1877, aged 24 yrs 9 mos 21 days. Martha A. Carrington was a daughter John Carrington and Elizabeth Randolph. She was a granddaughter of Randolph Carrington and Katharine McGary, and, Robert Randolph and Elizabeth Davis. Martha Carrington was my 1st cousin 3 times removed. On Nov. 14, 1873 in Callaway Co., Missouri, she married Marcus T. Herring.
