Jarrell Carver Herring, born Oct 19, 1854 died May 29, 1887. Jarrell Carver Herring was a son of Andrew C. Herring and Latitia E. Crooks. He was a grandson of John Herring & Lucy Carver, and, John Crooks & Margaret Hughart. He was my 1st cousin 3 times removed. On May 29, 1873 in Callaway Co., Missouri, he married Willie J. Gilpin. He second married Helen Phillips on Dec. 29, 1879 in Audrain Co., Missouri.
