Craighead and Elizabeth Maerz. He was a grandson of John William Craighead and Sarah C. Payne, and, Robert Patrick Payne and Elizabeth Payne, and, Andrew A. Maerz and Unknown Hendle. Forrest Craighead was my 4th cousin twice removed. On April 8, 1917 in Callaway Co., Missouri, he married Alberta G. Sanders. There is a DAR insignia on the headstone. 	Francis Brandon Francis Brandon, born Nov 20, 1819 - died Dec 27, 1890. Francis Brandon was born in Halifx Virginia. He was a son of Robert Brandon and Mary Jane Holt, a grandson of Francis Brandon Sr. and Sarah Scott, and, Timothy Holt and Elizabeth Chambers. In 1870, he was elected Mayor of Fulton. In 1876, he was elected Public Administrator of Callaway County. He was my 1st cousin, 5 times removed. On Dec. 15, 1841 in Callaway Co., Missouri, he married Ann Bennett, daughter of John Bennett and Susan Holt. Ann Bennett was my 2nd cousin 4 times removed. On June 7, 1877 in Callaway Co., Missouri, he married his second wife, Georgianna Herring, daughter of George Washington Herring Sr. and Lucy Simco. Georgianna Herring was my great grandaunt. This memorial headstone was erected Oct. 9, 2007 by the Missouri Sons of the Confederacy. George Washington Herring Jr. was a son of George Washington Herring Sr. and Lucy Simco. On Feb. 19, 1871 in Callaway Co., Missouri, he married Josima McNerva Allen, Apr. 16, 1854 - Dec. 6, 1922. She was a daughter of John Karah Allen and Mary L. Walker.
