    • From Deborah Harmon:
      Laura was called Lollie. Though disabled all her short life she wrote a daily journal the last couple of years of her life. She described life near Englewood as happy. She would tell of the others going to parties, to sell farm goods in town, and the active life of the Clatterbuck family. NEVER ONCE did she complain about her health, or things she missed out on due to the disability. Lollie was happy, safe, and loved in the Clatterbuck home on Cedar Creek. Her life was important to the Clatterbuck family - she should be remembered fondly.
