- Marvin Lawrence "Bud" Tate, 75, Kansas City, formerly of New Bloomfield, died April 30, 2002, at St. Joseph Care Center, Kansas City.
He was born Nov. 1, 1925, a son of Roy M. and Elsie Jewell Cole Harrison. He was married to Thelma L. Tate, who died in 1985.
He was a food broker as well as a Shriner and Mason.
Survivors include: two sons, Victor Tate, Scottsville, Ky., and Steve Lee, Fountain Run, Ky.; one sister, Delores Harrison, New Bloomfield; 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
One granddaughter preceded him in death.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Debo Funeral Home, Fulton. The Rev. Webster Brown will officiate.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Sunday and from noon-1 p.m. Monday.
