    • From the 1984 Callaway Book:

      Flossie was born on a farm on Ceder Creek west of Guthrie, Missouri, the 3rd of 4 children of Sterling Price Emmons and Frances Sampson.

      They owned a farm on Cedar Creek, which Flossie still owns (1984) and operates with the help of her son-in-law Norman. Flossie is a retired Fulton State Hospital employee. She is a long time member of the Dry Fork Baptist Church.
