Frank Guthrie, 82 years old, was struck and killed by Chicago & Alton passenger train No. 210, northbound, near the station at Guthrie, Mo., Tuesday morning. Mr. Guthrie was crossing the track ahead of the train when he was struck. He was a brother of Judge J.A. Guthrie, of this city.
Mr. Guthrie was one of the leading citizens of Callaway County. He had lived at the town that bears his name many years. He leaves three children. They are Mrs. Lou Gray and Mrs. Fannie Huston and Baxter Guthrie, who lived at home with his father. Mr. Guthrie's wife has been dead many years.
Besides his children, Mr. Guthrie leaves two brothers, Judge Guthrie, of Mexico and D.B. Guthrie, who lives southwest of this city.
