    • Raymond "Ray" Elmo Holt
      Raymond "Ray" Elmo Holt, 78, of Columbia, formery of Fulton, died Sunday, September 5, 2004 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
      He was born May 18, 1926, in Callaway county, the son of the late Paul G. and Ethel (Blythe) Holt. On Nov. 26, 1977, he married Carol E. Halley in Fulton, Mo. She survives of the home.
      He is survived by four daughters, Mary Alice Davis of Garland, TX, Caroline Marie Kemell and husband Joe of Greenville, SC, Teressa Elizabeth Olsen and husband Mickey of Lake St. Louis, MO, Michelle Annette Kelsay and husband Ken of St. Charles, MO; one son, Thomas Scott Hill and wife Valery of Branbleton, Virginia; six grandchildren, Jeff Davis, Haley Kemell, Joel Kelsay, Noah Kelsay, Zachary Kelsay, and Levi Raymond Kelsay; four great-grandchildren, Benjamin Davis, Kristen Davis, Kalley Davis, and Truman Davis; five brothers, P.G. Holt of Morganfield, KY, Roy Lee Holt of Providence, KY, Bobby Holt and Billy Holt, both of Fulton, and Donald Holt of Almeda, CA; three sister, Ruby Marshall of Kansas City, MO, Martha Morris of Fulton, and Wanda Mirts Randall of Kansas City, MO; and nieces and nephews.
      He worked in sales for 30 years at Cooke Sales & Service and at Debo Funeral Home in Advance Planning for 13 years. Ray was a charter member of Fulton Breakfast Optimist Club, life member of the V.F.W., member of the Masonic Lodge #48, and past member of other various organizations. He looked forward to his sessions with the "9 a.m. coffe group". He was a member of Memorial Baptist Church in Columbia.
      Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 11, at the Debo Funeral Home in Fulton with Dr. Robert Webb and Dr. James L. Goodson officiating. Burial with military honors will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery in Columbia, MO. Family will receive friends on Friday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home in Fulton.
      Memorials are suggested to the Fulton YMCA and Memorial Baptist church of Columbia.
