Married 3, Apr. 28, 1928, Otto Victor Ueberroth.
In a letter from Douschka Ueberroth, Quoted from the Cra(i)ghead book:
Douschka tells us her 1st husband was a titled Italian and she ran away from boarding school to marry him when she was 20 years old. That marriage ended in divorce five years later. In 1922, she married Roy Walter Leafgreen, who died in 1926. Her only child is by her 3rd marriage.
She says she is extremely interested in the history of her family, and because she's never known any of them she's anxious to get aquainted. She writes: "I do so wish you could come to see me. We live 1/2 block from the lake, in a large 14 room house in Wilmette. (Illinois) It's lovely here, and very cold in winter. Would like a warmer climate, and when my son Chris finishes high school, we are thinking of moving to Tuscon, Ariz... The only thing I wish to accomplish is to know more about my family..." Regarding her unusual name, she also adds: "There is quite a history to it, but probably interesting only to myself." And so, she did not include it's history and did not write again.
