    William H. Holt, June 27, 1850 - Aug. 18, 1928. Catherine V. Holt, Sept. 11, 1849 - Aug. 4, 1936. William Hiram Holt was a son of John Friskin Holt and Sarah Paine Brandon. He was my 2nd cousin 4 times removed. On Jan. 8, 1874 in Callaway Co., Missouri, he married Sarah Catherine Vaughn. She was a daughter of William Vaughn and Mariah Blythe.…

    • In 1850 census, age 1, she was listed in the house of James B. Vaughn. She was not listed with that family in 1860. Her death certificate states her parents were William Vaughan and Mariah Blythe. James and William Vaughan were 1st cousins.
