- James Kemp Dead.
James Kemp, 17 years old, died last Friday at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Kemp, ten miles southwest of Fulton. He had been sick for sometime with a complication of diseases which ended in an attack of typhoid fever. Besides his parents, he is survived by three brothers and four sisters. Funeral services were held at the family home Saturday afternoon, the Rev. H.S. Weaver, pastor of the Ham's Prairie Christian church officiating. Burial was in the Ham's Prairie cemetery.
(note: His name was Gasner George Kemp, maybe a mistake in the paper, or maybe his nickname was James?)
