Children Catherine and Sarah's ages do not make sense. Catherine's death certificate says she was born in 1850, but 1850 census shows her 2 years old in 1850, 1860 census shows her 9 years old... and Sarah was 9 months old in 1850 census, but in 1860 she wasn't born until 1853. I believe the 1850 census was more accurate. The two oldest daughters must have been by a first wife. something is definately off about the dates and ages of children. If Catherine was born in 1848 as it shows on 1850 census, and her birthday on her death certificate is correct for the month and day, she was born one month before her parents married. I don't see how she could have been born in 1850 as her death certificate says tho, because she's listed as being 2 years old in 1850 and her sister Sarah already 9 months old in 1850. So the 1860 census which lists Catherine as 9 years old and Sarah as only 7 years old, is incorrect.
