    • Susan Kemp was born September 27, 1886, near Hams Prairie, Callaway Co., Missouri, the fifth child of Thomas Walter Kemp and Annie Lewis Galwith. Thomas Kemp and Annie Lewis were born near Hams Prairie on April 1, 1851 and near Concord, Callaway County, on November 11, 1854 respectively.

      After Scott's death on March 22, 1941, his wife moved to Fulton where she lived until her death on February 14, 1971.

      They were dedicated and active members of the Carrington Baptist Church, interested in all community affairs and the Democratic political party.
