    • John N. Judt Died Sunday Morning
Heart Trouble Caused Death of Fulton Merchant - Funeral Tuesday.
John Nathan Judt, one of Fulton's most substantial business men, died Sunday morning at 9:00 o'clock, at his home of West Seventh street, following an illness of about three weeks with heart trouble. Up to that time he had been in comparatively good health.
A funeral service will be held at the Presbyterian church, Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, conucted by the pastor, the Rev. Dr. E.F. Abbott, and burial will be in Hillcrest cemetery.
Mr. Judt was born in Fulton and had lived here all his life. He was a son of the late Lewis and Mary Elizabeth Judt. When quite a boy he entered the employ of Berghauser Hardware Company, and had been in the hardware business since then, establishing with the other two members the firm of Judt, Harris & Craghead in 1901. Later the other two partners purchased Mr. Craghead's interest, and the firm had since been known as the Judt-Harris Hardware Company.
Mr. Judt was married eight years ago to Miss Flora Six of Mattoon, Ill., and they would have celebrated their wedding anniversary next Sunday. Besides his wife he is survived by four sisters: Mrs. Mary Frances Forrestal and Misses Minnie and Suzie Judt, all of Fulton, and Mrs. J.W. Cumberland of Los Angeles, Calif.
Mr. Judt was a member of the Fulton Presbyterian church. He was of a quiet, unassuming disposition, but was held in the highest esteem by all his friends and acquaintances and had the respect of the entire community. Friends of the bereaved family extend to them much sympathy.
