R.P. Key Dead.
R.P. Key, of Mexico, 63 years old, died of paralysis Monday evening at the home of John E. Tincher, just east of Hatton. He was driver of a poultry wagon which made regular trips in north Callaway, and was stricken with paralysis at Mr. Tincher's gate, six days before his death. Burial took place at Richland Christian church Wednesday.
Mr. Key was born in Callaway county and lived here until seventeen years ago. His wife, who survives him, was a daughter of the late Jacob Crowson, of this county. Two children are living, namely: Roy Key, of Keytesville, and Mrs. Mattie Striver, of Oklahoma.

Notes	Robert P. Key Miss Mary F. Cowan 18 Nov 1875 D60 This must be a mistake in the transcription of record. His obit states that his wife was a daughter of Jacob Crowson, Cowan. Death Certificate spells middle name as Paine, headstone as Payne. Death Certificate gives date of birth as Feb. 19, 1850, headstone as 1848. In 1850 census he is listed as being 4 months old, which would lend credence to the death certificate listing of birth year.
