Charles Craghead Dies at Hospital; Rites on Tuesday
Charles Edgar Craghead, a retired farmer who lived east of Fulton, died at 4:30 a.m. Sunday at the Callaway Hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Maupin Funeral Home with the Rev. James Rice officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Virgil Gathright, Clarence Stambaugh, Woodrow Craghead, Ray Craghead, Harold Craghead and Herman Craghead.
Born on October 20, 1871, in Callaway county, he was a son of Powell and Nancy C. Hall Craghead. He was married to the former Della Strait on Sept. 28, 1901 (date was very hard to read, may be a bit off), and she survives.
Also surviving are one son, Crawford Craghead, of east of Fulton, two brothers, Gus Craghead and A.M. Craghead both of Fulton; five grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.

Notes	In 1900, working on Millie Pasley farm, single He married Della Strait. He lived at Route 1, Williamsburg, Missouri, at the time of his death. He died in the Callaway Hospital after a stay of 16 days. He was a farmer, and was never in the military. Crawford Craghead of Williamsburg, Missouri, gave the information for his death certificate.
