Notes	They must have gone to California right after they married. Ila was born in 1877 in California, but Alvin was born in 1879 in Missouri. On the 1900 census, Sarah Herring Miller shows 5 children born, 5 living. And 5 children were living with her at that time. But Ila was not, she was married by then. Ila made 6 children. There is something not quite right about the numbers and the one birth in California.
