Craighead & Francis Jane Payne, a grandson of John R. Craghead & Sarah Hale. He was my 3rd cousin 3 times removed. He married Eva Winslow.…

    • Small newspaper item mentions him sending peaches to his sister Medora in 1911, he was living in Colorado at that time:
      Fulton Gazette
      September 22, 1911
      Mrs. Medora Howe, of East Fifth street, received a crate of peaches a few days ago from her brother, J.D. Craghead, of La Junta, Col., and for the samples brought to the Gazette it can readily be seen that Colorado, also, produces fruit that ranks with the best.
