- Paul was the first child born in the new house. He worked in Scottsbluff after high school and then went into the submarine service, before we got into WWII, 1940-41. He served about 30 years. In 1943, he was a Gunner's Mate 3rd Class - Submarine Service - USS Tuna, 1944; USS Raton, 1954.
He went by the name of Buddy Paul.
He was buried at sea.
