Named as a surviving son in his father's obit in 1948. His father died at Eagan's home, where he had been for six weeks after becoming ill.
He lived at R.F.D.#1, Williamsburg, Missouri, at the time of his death. He died at home. He was a farmer, never in the military. His wife gave the information for his death certificate.
Death cause on death certificate reads:
Death due to natural causes, right hand amputated Nov. 2, 1960. Hand caught in corn picker Nov. 2, 1960.
