Headstones		Maurine Carter Myers Maurine Carter Myers, Sept. 4, 1895 - July 26, 1993. Maurine M. Carter was a daughter of Thomas Edward Carter and Mamie Nancy Dorris. She was my 1st cousin once removed. On Sept. 21, 1920 in Callaway Co., Missouri, she married Forest B. Myers.

Notes	1st marriage David Wallace McKee Miss Maurine Carter 17 Dec 1914 J251 By 1917, David and Maurine Carter McKee moved to Edgewood Park, Pennsylvania when he got a job teaching at a deaf school. His mother moved with them, she was listed on his draft card as a dependent along with his wife, it did not list any children. I have not found out how or when he died, whether it was in WWI or some illness, but by 1920, Maurine Carter McKee was back in Fulton, Missouri, living with her family, and listed on the census as a widow. She married again later that year. 2nd marriage Forest B. Myers Mrs. Maurine Carter McKee 21 Sept 1920 * bo In 1927, her parents moved from their Court St. house to the country. In 1930, Maurine and husband were living in that house, 908 Court St., Fulton, Missouri. That house was across the street from the house where Margaret Ann Carter, and family were living at that time. Margaret Ann Carter was Maurine Carter McKee Myers's grandmother. In 1944, her parents moved back into the 908 Court Street house after her father became ill, and she took care of him. Forest and Maurine were divorced sometime between 1930 and 1953.
