Tandy, pastor of the First Baptist Church of fulton, and burial will be in Hillcrest cemetery. The Fulton Masons will conduct the last rites at the grave.
Mr. Brandon was a son of Francis and Anne Bennett Brandon, pioneer residents of Callaway county. He was born at New Bloomfield on March 29, 1847 and spent nearly all of his life in the Kingdom, most of it in Fulton.
Mr. Brandon railroaded for many years, being connected with the Chicago & Allen lines. Later in life he served as clerk at the national capital at Washington for Richard Parks Bland.
He was married to Miss Virginia Flemming who preceeded him in death. To this union, two daughters were born, Mrs. Rogers and one who died in infancy. He also leaves two sisters, Mrs. Sue V. Foy and Mrs. Wallace Williams of Fulton.
Mr. Brandon united with the Fulton Baptist Church early in life, he became a member of the Fulton Lodge of Masons in December 1867 and had held membership longer than any other living member of the organization.
