      He was an attendent Nurse at the State Hospital. His wife gave the information for his death certificate.

      His parents were Levi Davis and Mary Jane Curtis.

      Odd thing... on 1910 census, his wife is listed as a widow. On the death certificate in 1919, Mrs. Jane Davis gave the information for his death certificate. I haven't found any other John William Davis that fits for this person, so I'm not sure where he was in 1910 or why his wife was listed as a widow unless the person who died in 1919 is not him. But it really doesn't make any sense.... I hope to find their headstones in Hillcrest soon, maybe that will answer the question.
