    • From the book, A History of Callaway County Missouri, 1884; which is not always accurate:
      Henry Cave, Jr., the father of Justinian, was born in Scott county, Kentucky, on the 4th of June, 1800, and was therefore sixteen years of age when the family moved to Missouri. After he grew up, he was married to Miss Frances Craig, who was born in Scott county, Kentucky in March, 1805. They were married in Boone county in 1827, and subsequently moved to Callaway county. == The father died January 23, 1858. The mother died ten years before.
