    • Walter Blackburn Died Last Night At Callaway Hospital
      Walter F. Blackburn of 305 South Ravine street died at 11:25 o'clock last night at the Callaway Hospital. He was 60 years old.

      Funeral services will be held at 3:30 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at the Wallace Funeral Home. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery.

      Mr. Blackburn was born August 14, 1900 in Callaway County, the son of George and Mary Jane Maddox Blackburn. On July 7, 1956, he was married to the former Mrs. Thelma Dean, who survives. Also surviving are four stepsons, Robert W. and Larry Dean of Oklahoma City, Stanley Dean of Mexico and Don Dean of the home; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Jaunita Benskin and Mrs. Maxine Wolfmeier, both of Fulton; three brothers, George E. Blackburn of Davenport, Iowa, Clarence D. Blackburn of Readsville, and W. Russell Blackburn of Mexico; one half-brother, Omer Blackburn of Vandalia, and several step-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

      Two wives and one son, a half-sister and a half-brother preceded him in death.

      Mr. Blackburn had been employed at State Hospital No. 1 here for 20 years.
