	Died At the State Lunatic Asylum, April 2nd, 1875, Mrs. Lizzie M. McCredie, wife of Geo. P. McCredie, in the 30th year of her age. Mrs. McCredie was the daughter of Capt. John Robinson, who died many years ago, near Richland Church, where Mrs. McCredie was born. She made a profession of religion about fifteen years ago and united with the Richland Baptist Church and lived a faithful and devoted christian the balance of her life. She was possessed of many amiable qualities which go to make up the true woman and by her kind charitable disposition had drawn around her many warm, devoted friends. She bore her protracted illness with christian fortitude, never complained of God's providence and was perfectly resigned to His Will - God's grace did not fail her in her dying hour. She asked her friends to sing "Jesus paid it all." After the song was sung she called her husband to her and entreated him to prepare to meet her in heaven, told her heart-broken mother and weeping friends good-bye, and was taken in the arms of Jesus whom she loved and trusted in life, and was borne safely through the waters to the beautiful land beyond the river. She lived a christian life; she died a triumphant death. Just as the sun crimsoned the eastern sky she entered that city where "there is no need of the sun, neither of the moon to shine in it, for the Glory of God did lighten it and the Lamb is the light thereof." The bereaved husband, the stricken mother and the many relatives and friends of deceased have heartfelt sympathies of the whole community.
