	Farmer Found Dead in Bed John R Nichols, 67 Years old Succumbed During Night at Home East of New Bloomfield John Robert Nichols, 67 years old, a native Callawagien and a resident of the New Bloomfield community all his life, was found dead in bed at his home two and a half miles east of New Bloomfield early Wednesday morning. He had been in comparitively good health and death came unexpectedly. Funeral arrangements had not been made Wednesday morning, and due to the fact that many of his relatives live a a great distance from New Bloomfield the services probably will not be held until Friday or Saturday. Mr Nichols was born July 21 1861, on a farm near New Bloomfield. He had spent practically his entire life there where he followed the occupation of farmer. He was a member of the New Bloomfield Providence Baptist Church. He is survived by his widow, who formerly was Miss Ella Padgett, and the following brothers and sisters.
