His parents were Issac Keely and Margaret Fry. Mrs. Maggie Maddox of Fulton, Missouri, gave the information for his death certificate.

I have seen his name spelled Keely and Keeley. On his death certificate it is Keeley, on his headstone it is Keely. It is both ways on census forms.

He lived in Auxvasse, Missouri at the time of his death. He was struck and killed by a car while working on State highway 40 near Linburg.
