    • Durward "Woody" Ernest Quarters, 79, of Fulton, Missouri, passed away at Fulton Nursing and Rehab on Sunday, September 6, 2009. He was born July 12, 1930 in Portland, Missouri, the son of the late Ernest and Nora Mae Wright Quarters. On August 27, 1955, he was united in marriage to Anna Lou Hook Quarters who surives.
      In addition to his wife of fifty-four years, he will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by three nieces; four nephews; numerous cousins and friends.
      Durward served our country in the United States Navy during the Korean War. He was a farmer.
      Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 9, 2009, at Maupin Funeral Home in Fulton, Missouri with Pastor Bruce Williamson and Rev. Ron Baker officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service on Wednesday. Interment will be held at Hillcrest Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to New Hope Baptist Church or to Southside Baptist Church.
