    • Mrs. Ella Burdett, 82 Years Old, Died
      Succumbs At Home Of Mrs. Frank Hillgartner, Niece, Whom She Reared
      Mrs. Ella Burdett, 82 years old, died at 11:30 o'clock, Tuesday night at the home of her niece, Mrs. Frank Hillgartner, east of Fulton, who she had reared from the time she was 18 months old. Mrs. Burdett had been in ill health several months.
      She was a daughter of the late William H. and Rhoda A. Blackburn and was born at Readsville, June 28, 1861. She was married to Will A. Burdett of Fulton March 7, 1895, who preceded her in death nine years ago. Mrs. Burdett is survived by one brother, Richard C. Blackburn of St. Louis. She united with the Methodist Church when a young woman. She was a kind neighbor and thoughtful friend and will be missed by all who knew her.
      Funeral services will be conducted at the Wallace Funeral Home in Fulton at 1:30 o'clock Thursday afternoon and there also well be a short service at the Bethel Methodist Church at Readsville the same afternoon.
      Burial will be in the Bethel cemetery at Readsville, with he Rev. A. O. Hallam officiating.

    • She lived 2 miles east of Fulton on R.F.D. #1. She died at home. Her parents were W.H. and Rhoda Blackburn. Frank Hillgartner of the same area, gave the information for her death certificate.
