    William H. Nichols, Jul. 16, 1859 - Jul. 24, 1940. Alice V. Nichols, Apr. 3, 1860 - May 1, 1959. William H. Nichols was a son of William Nichols and Susan A. Muir. He was a grandson of Jeremiah Muir Sr. and Susan Thomas, and, George Nichols and Rachel Rebecca Davis. He married Alice Virginia Funk. She was a daughter of William H. and Sarah Funk.…

    • He lived 3 miles north of Fulton at the time of his death. His occupation is listed as retired on his death certificate. His wife Alice gave the information for his death certificate.

      He was struck by a Greyhound bus on south highway 54, fracturing skull and ribs. Coroners jury found it was an unavoidable accident.
