    • Mrs. Samuel Barrett
      Funeral services for Mrs. Samuel H. Barrett will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the First Christian Church, Columbia.
      Mrs. Barrett died Friday at Boone County Hospital. She was born May 25, 1911, at Hams Prairie, the daughter of J.C. Lynes and Casie Loyd Lynes. She was the former Mis Amy Louise Lynes and lived in Fulton until she moved to Columbia in 1954 where she was a nurse at Boone County Hospital until 1964. She married Samuel H. Barrett Feb. 7, 1952.
      She is survived by her husband, one sister, Mrs. Frances Brewer, Fulton, three brothers, J.P. Lynes, Green Valley, ariz., William V. Lynes, Los Angeles, Calif., and Jackson Lynes, San Diego, Calif., several nieces and nephews.
      She was a member of the First Christian Church, Columbia, the columbia Garden Club and was vice president of the club.
      Friends may call at Parker Funeral Chapel, Columbia after noon Saturday. The Rev. Sam S. Langley will officiate and burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery.
      A memorial fund has been established to the First Christian Church.
