Jefferson City News-Tribune, October 14, 2002, Pauline Ellen Smith, 85, New Bloomfield, died Oct. 12, 2002, at Presbyterian Manor, Fulton. She was born Jan. 4, 1917, in Mexico, a daughter of Letus and Rose Mosley Herring. She was married in February 1939 in New Bloomfield, to Wilson Smith, who died April 4, 1994. She worked as a secretary for the Callaway Bank in Fulton. She was a member of Dry Fork Baptist Church, where she was a Sunday school teacher. She was a member of WMU, the Guthrie Extension Club and the Eastern Star. Survivors include: one son, Steve Smith, Fayette; one daughter, Sandra Haymart, Fulton; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Dry Fork Baptist Church, New Bloomfield. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
