Debo Funeral Home Obituary, 7 Jan 2009, Della Jo Nevins, 78, of Fulton, passed away Monday, Jan. 5, 2009 at Callaway Community Hospital. She was born Dec. 17, 1930, in Callaway County, the daughter of the late Edward F. and Della Clare (Day) Bellamy. On July 11, 1953, she married Jewell Nevins in Fulton. He preceded her in death She is survived by three sons, Danny Nevins, Rick Nevins, and Mike Nevins and his wife Wanda all of Fulton; three daughters, Barbara Mertens and husband Mickey, Bonnie Bowers and husband Phil of South Carolina, and Donna Atterberry and husband Rick of Fulton; one brother, Buster Bellamy and wife Beverly of Fulton; one sister, Melba Crane of Kansas City, MO; eleven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren. Della had worked at various restaurants in the area. She loved to cook, loved to dance and have a good time. She was an active member of the Heartland Church. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 10, at the Debo Funeral Home in Fulton with Rev. Gary Garrett officiating. Burial will follow in Callaway Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends on Saturday from noon until time of service at the funeral home.
