Maupin Funeral Home Obituary, June 05, 2007, William L. "Bill" Craghead, 75, of Auxvasse, Missouri passed away at Boone Hospital Center on Tuesday, June 5, 2007. He was born January 29, 1932 in Audrain County, Missouri the son of the late Paris and Leota (Holt) Craghead. On March 4, 1960 he was united in marriage to Beulah (Moore) Craghead who survives at the home. In addition to his wife of forty-seven years, he will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by one daughter, Melissa Craghead Cashion and her husband Tom of Auxvasse, Missouri; one brother, Sherwood Craghead of Centralia, Missouri; two sisters, Melba Harrison of Columbia, Missouri and Patty McIntosh of Mexico, Missouri; three grandchildren, Felicia Cashion, Heather Cashion, and Jennifer Cashion; other relatives and many dear friends. His parents, one brother, Marvin Craghead and one sister, Dee Anna Lewis, preceded him in death. William had worked at Columbia Brick and Tile and at J.B. Arthur in Mexico, Missouri. He was a member of the Grand Prairie Baptist Church and enjoyed fishing, hunting, collecting antiques, flea markets, gardening, flowers, drinking coffee, watching television. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. on Friday, June 8, 2007 at Maupin Funeral Home in Fulton, Missouri with the Rev. Floyd Beasley officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 7, 2007 at Maupin Funeral Home in Fulton, Missouri. Interment will be held at Auxvasse Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Grand Prairie Baptist Church. |
