Fulton Gazette, Sept. 13, 1977, Mr. Clatterbuck, 83, dies Monday Luther Clatterbuck, 83, Ashland, died Monday evening at a Columbia hospital.Mr. Clatterbuck was born Mar. 28, 1894, in Callaway County, the son of Lorenzo and Carolina Clatterbuck. He was a member of the Dry Fork Baptist Church in Callaway County. He was also a member of the Ashland American Legion Post No. 156. He was a veteran of World War I. Mr. Clatterbuck was a retired farmer. Survivors include: One sister, Mrs. Lucy May Hinshaw; and one brother, Neuman Clatterbuck, both of Ashland. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Burnett Funeral Chapel, Ashland, with the Rev. Jerry Anderson officiating. Burial will be in the Dry Fork Cemetery near Guthrie. |
