Jefferson City News-Tribune, November 14, 2002, Louis A. Bratton, 88, Fulton, died Nov. 12, 2002, at Boone Hospital Center. He was born July 20, 1914, in Bluffton, a son of Lonnie E. and Pauline Verdot Bratton. He was married June 16, 1943, in Linn, to Jewell M. Pasley, who survives in Fulton. He worked as a maintenance supervisor for the Fulton State Hospital. He was a deacon of Southside Baptist Church and volunteered for the Gideons. He was an Army veteran. Other survivors include one daughter, Connie Adams, Columbia, and two grandchildren. One grandson preceded him in death. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Southside Baptist Church, Fulton. Ron Baker and the Rev. Gary Garrett will officiate. Burial with full military honors will be in Callaway Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 3-7 p.m. Friday at Debo Funeral Home, Fulton. Memorials are suggested to The Gideons International and the Missouri Baptist Children's Home, Bridgeton. |
