Maupin Funeral Home Obituary, Feb. 20, 2009 Jesse R. "Tommy" Baker passsed away February 20, 2009 at Boone Hospital in Columbia, Missouri. He lived his entire life in Callaway County. He was born May 18, 1922 to the late Cornelias and Mary Elizabeth (Nichols) Baker. Jessie married Mary Rankin Fletcher on December 5, 1953 in Callaway County. He served in World War II and was retired from Harbison Walker. He was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church. His wife, Ranky, survives him at home. He is also survived by two sons, Dewayne Baker and Bobby Baker, both of Fulton; one daughter, Carol Martin, of Fulton; four granddaughters; eight great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild, all of Fulton. He was preceded in death by two sons, Thomas Michael Baker and Steven McKinny, Jr., and one granddaughter, Mary Elizabeth Baker. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 24, 2009 at Maupin Funeral Home in Fulton, Missouri with Rev. Walter Lockhart officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, February 23, 2009 at Maupin Funeral Home in Fulton, Missouri. Interment will be held at Callaway Memorial Gardens.
