Eliza Jane Herring was born October 17, 1827 in Albemarle Co., Virginia. She was a daughter of Nathan Herring and Susan Hill. Her family came to Callaway Co., Missouri when she was 8 years old. She was my 1st cousin 3 times removed.
On April 6, 1859 in Callaway Co, Missouri, she married William Charles Stewart Hall. He was born in April of 1828 in Albemarle Co., Virginia. William had previously been married and had two children that Eliza raised, Rice E. Hall, b: 1856, and Martha A. Hall, b: 1857.
Eliza and William had 6 children.
